Come visit me some time. We'll shoot Uzi's at fast food vending machines, tussle with tiger cubs, and eat real nachos and home made hotdogs.

Milan Jovanovic will be allowed to leave Liverpool FC in January

Milan Jovanovic 300
LIVERPOOL will allow Milan Jovanovic to leave in the New Year – with Germany the likely destination for the Serbia international.

Jovanovic only arrived at Liverpool in the summer on a free transfer from Belgian side Standard Liege having agreed a deal with former Anfield manager Rafael Benitez earlier in the year.

But the 29-year-old has grown frustrated at his lack of top-flight opportunities under Hodgson, and last month indicated he would review his situation in January.

While a regular in the Europa League campaign, the Serb forward and has made only four Premier League starts, the last of which came at Birmingham City in September.

And it appears likely Jovanovic, who has scored just twice this season, will depart when the transfer window reopens next month, with Liverpool willing to entertain offers in the region of £3million.

The news will alert a number of clubs including Bundesliga duo Cologne and Hamburg, who are both known admirers of the player.

Would be a lot nicer to see a better player up front a few times.

I'm not really bothered bothered by average players leaving. And that includes all the players that people say needed more of a chance. As most, if not all of them, aren't good enough.

I don't agree. Jovanovic never got a fair crack of the whip in his best position, namely up front. Without that I don't think we're in a position to judge whether or not he'd have been good enough as a stand-in/sidekick for Torres.

Hes a striker who never got to play up front. Or play at all really. Top scorer in belgium for a reason

Everyone else there is shit ?

He hasn't been any more shit than anyone else.

I think he's kicked off at Hodgson. He strikes me as an honest sort, who will say what is on his mind.

LIVERPOOL flop Milan Jovanovic is following Roy Hodgson out of Anfield.

The Serb arrived on Merseyside last summer on a free transfer, but he has failed to live up to the reputation he built at Standard Liege as a prolific goalscorer.

He has scored twice from 17 appearances so far for Liverpool and a loan deal to Turkish side TRABZONSPOR should go through this week.

They want to take him for the rest of the season with a view to a permanent transfer if he makes an impact.

Jovanovic, 29, has failed to settle in England and his new side continue to struggle in the wake of Hodgson’s sacking.

Fair enough. Never saw the games where he started up front so can't comment. Overall he didn't impress. never mind then

Hasn't got anything against Jova the man, but Jova the player was never Liverpool quality sadly.

One of many.

Which is even more sad.

Anyways onwards and upwards, I've got faith in Kenny to make the proper changes in personnel needed.

Meh.

Wasn't arsed about him before he came and won't give a fuck after he's gone.

He's January on the club calender and I can't bring myself to hang the shitting thing.

Yet another horribly shite free signing wih awful wages than we need to offload. SELL
and his wages just mean we cant get rid.

Seemed to have a decent debut against United if I recall, and I was hoping through time that he would be just what we need. Similar to Albert.
Won't be missed, and more chance for a youngster to step up

The Turkish league will be great for him.
Yep, probably found his level........

Yep, he needs to be shipped out.

If we can ship this fella and Babel out and get Suarez and another winger in, that would be good work.

It was against the Arse and he got a standing ovation. IMO he's been unlucky not to have got more of an opportunity in his best position, which is up front. LW/LM was never his strong point and I think he'd have been worth more of a try instead of N'Gog in some games.
