Mo Salah 2025/26 Season

Shit is going to hit the fan when Inter tear us new one tomorrow..

It clear the club want to cash in and get him off the wage bill, with the January transfer window looming..

I'm with Salah all the way..

Slot is the problem, not Salah..

There are a number of problems and those are two of them. It's fucking absurd to think you need to pick a side.

Salah is the easiest one to fix, because he's finished and shouldn't be here anyway.

Yeh he could have handled it better.

But maybe just maybe he had a point.. and if I am being honest. He is being thrown under the bus..

This is not going to end well at all..

He's not being thrown under the bus.

You are parroting his stupid talking point.

We need to fix this side. He's not part of that. He had a third of a season to show he's still got it and he's been fucking horrible. We can't play off the ball with him in the side. We can sell him. It's not a hard decision. It's just sensible business after some really stupid business.

Is he feck finished..

You probably complained about Gary McAllister when we signed him at 35. ?

The system is broken, not Salah.

It so flaming obvious.

If it was just Salah that was shite I'd agree. But it isn't. The whole squad is with the exception of a few players.

That points to how they are being coached and managed

It disrespectful to Salah giving everything he had achieved at this club..

He is the Scapegoat, for sure..

It may not be coming from slot, it probably coming from the Top..

But the problem with the team is Slot and his coaching team.

We are bloody awful to watch with or without Salah, and can't play off the ball with or without him..

He’s finished as a marauding winger that scores goals.

He doesn’t have the skill set or playing style of McAllister.

The Klopp system is broken. The Slot system is shit.

It’s disrespectful to LFC for doing a 7 min rant on TV.

I just figured out why we’re so poor this season!

We had too many petulant me-me-me strikers in the team. One from the barcodes and our very own Mo.

So if Mo goes then the force is balanced and we’ll be great again.
Would be nice if it was down to one player but don't think so, we will soon find out if Slot recovers his magic touch missing since Feb last year. If it was one down to petulant players, how come wasn't the case during bulk of last season?

I don't personally think Mo is finished. He's never going to get to the heights of last season, but he's still got something to offer.

I think objectively, if we are going to carry a passenger defensively, he's more effective than Flo right now, and more effective than Isak.

Unfortunately, those two are our future.

I think we we want to get the best out of Mo, he can no longer play as an out and out winger. He's gotta be moved as an inside forward.

The only formation that can handle this is a 3-4-3,

Where Flo and Mo are behind an Ekitike/Isak.

Midfield, with wing backs, could be Kerkez - Macca - Szobo - Frimpong.

Centrebacks, Virgil, Gravy, Konate.

I'm not sure Slot has ever played this, but if we were to get a Glasner, I think he'd move us towards this direction immediately (and probably bring in Guehi too).

He scores goals. He would do well playing as striker, for sure.

An expensive striker off the bench mind.

But fucking hell. This is his first run of bad form and it coincides with shite tactics from Slot.

Have you seen how shit we have been playing since Plymouth game last season.. ?

This is not on Salah. It on the coaching staff and whoever was responsible for deciding to lay a stupid amount of money on 3 players that all want to play central..

But hey Gakpo will start again tomorrow and all will be well with the world... Not..

Have a fucking word with yourselves guys..

3-4-3

Shudders.

That was BR last roll of the dice and that didn't end well at all..

Look the Right had side is fucked. And it absolutely needs addressing.

I was kinda joking…

This isn't his first run of bad form. He has had several over recent years. They've been getting longer and longer. This one stretches back to march!

I'd have no problem if he was being paid Gary Mcallister wages and playing McAllister cameo roles. He's not willing to do that. And that's fine. That's up to him. He wants to play every minute of every game. To do that, he'll have to play somewhere else, in a different league.

Slot played him, again, and again, and again, while he was fucking shit. During this time he's moved Szobo around to three different positions, he's dropped an in form Tekkers, dropped Wirtz, subbed Gakpo at half time etc. etc. Salah had NOTHING to say while he was immune to any of this and anyone with functioning eyes was begging for something else.

We kicked a number of cans down the road, and one of them was allowing Salah to stay too long at the party, while changing the entire forward line, I'll agree with you there. But the only way out of it is the way we are taking, because he's not just NOT contributing, he actively worsens our side, and he's not part of the future. This isn't complicated. He's too fucking slow.

Except he can’t play as a striker, he doesn’t press, he doesn’t track back, he score goals but he needs to do more than that.

As we’ve already agreed Slot system is shit so I don’t need to look back to Plymouth.

Gakpo hasn’t flown to Italy so he won’t start.

Rather than blind loyalty, you should look at what’s happening.

He’s finished as the player he was.

I thought he could play more central and deeper and be a creator rather than a goalscorer, like Kenny and John Barnes kind of did. Mo does have a good pass on him and decent vision

But he would need to drop the ego, prove he can play this new role and accept rotation.

His outburst shows he doesn’t have any of the introspection needed to change
