The thing that fucks me off the most is, he'd have got the same outcome for him and a far better outcome for the club if he'd have just said "I don't like Slot, none of us get him. He's not the one and that's why everything is shit"

Carra can say he what he likes and he normally has plenty to say about Mo but if you take the time to watch his gap ridden video, then main point was he was making out like he was a nothing before he came to Liverpool. Well Roma and Fiorentina maybe nothing to a one club man but it means something to them fans and Egypt having not won Afcon, yes it's an undeniable fact.

You are missing carraghers point. Salah is quick to point out what he has done for Liverpool. He became a superstar here. In carraghers mind that means Liverpool did something for him.
I don't care, it sort of comes with the territory. I found Salah pre superstardom a lot easier to take but I don't give a shit as long as he's helping the team. I love ekitike, but can you imagine if he were to really take off. I hope he also becomes an unbearable cunt, because we need a tip top striker.
I think you are missing the point, watch the video. He also says have I said anything bad about Mo on the pitch and presenter corrects Carra rather quickly. I would say he was a super star in those clubs too, it's all relative right? Yes he became a global super star one here but it wasn't like he was an unknown brought for £38million from Basle.

Salah wasn't a superstar before Liverpool and you're not making a genuine argument when you assert that he is. Of course it's relative, but he's talking about mbappe and Ronaldo, not Artem Dovbyk.
I wasn't comparing super stars to Mbappe to Ronaldo level, Did Artem get over 20 something goals and 18 assists goals in Italy then? Like I said it's relative. Point is, he wasn't coming from Nothing. If he hadn't come to LFC, would have gone elsewhere and become a super star. Let's not pretend it's unique to us.

I'm not totally convinced about that tbh. He was 25 when he came and hadn't really shown much sign of ever becoming a superstar. Then he went straight into a perfect front 3 (well, maybe once Coutinho left), and part of a perfectly balanced 11, coached by a brilliant manager. It was perfect for him. I'm not convinced his success was inevitable like it was with Suarez, say.

Not guaranteed but was on a upward trajectory and right profile for our RW like Mane before. And he reproduced that form season after season for multiple seasons while here so decent bet as anyway.
I don't think Salah reaches this level without Klopp. He would still have been an excellent player, but I don't believe he enters the greatest PL attacker of all time conversation without Klopp on the sidelines.
Probably not and doubt he would got the same adulation elsewhere and we have treated him better than any player we have had play for us including the salary.

Yep, if he's already being touted for that much we have missed the boat by a season (whilst wasting money on Isak at the peak of his ability & price).
I also fear even with 6 months left on his contract, that Guehi could end up more expensive than the summer given the levels he is playing at.
Weirdly I think I like him more because of this. Maybe its my intense dislike for Slot. Mo has come out and stood up for himself and against our 'head coach' who is clearly out of his depth and doing damage to the club that may take years or decades to undo.
It's easy to hate on Mo (and I do endlessly) as he doesn't do what the rest of the team do, he is often lazy and selfish.. but without him we'd have neither of the PLs that we have won since he joined. He **has** been the difference. That doesn't mean I think he was or is worth 400k a week (I think the same for Virgil, my favourite ever Liverpool player btw) either.

No mate we have to differentiate between what he HAS done for the club (i.e. in the past) and the damage he is doing to the club now both on and off the pitch whilst costing us millions for the privilege.
He should never have come out like that, it was disgusting and he showed zero respect to the club or to his team-mates (on or off the pitch) regardless of his relationship with Slot (there are other avenues for that, I'm sure he has access to all the hierarchy at the club) - he is all about Salah FC and fuck the club. I want him out ASAP. Club above the man - always has been and always should be.
How we feel about Slot shouldn't even enter the conversation.
