Sign him up. He is a legend already and while we shouldn't pay without negotiation, he is clearly at another level from his peers and competitors. Would be a shame to lose him. We would have been in dire straits last season without his consistency and contribution.

Whats that in English football context though because that seems like a lot of money to me.

I mean I don't know an awful lot about baseball but for sure they can't be earning anywhere near a top professional football?

Mike Trout is on a 420+ million dollar 12 year contract in MLB. I'd say he has a similar status to Salah in his sport.
