Salah wins it from Gravenberch and Diaz who are joint second place.

There’s some interesting takeaways from this. Salah and Diaz both have 8 MOTMs awards. Gravenberch has the most runner up slots.

Mac Allister had a storming run of things and our full backs didn’t score many points.

Some point over the summer I’ll have a deeper look at the data. Or see if chatGPT can do it for me!

- Salah, Gravvy and Diaz is about right for the top 3.
- Alisson would have been higher if not for his injury - when he did play he was incredible, a strong top 3 candidate on a per-match basis.
- Konate was a bit undervalued this season, I think, and Endo probably overvalued.
- Trent, wow - a place between Elliott and Tsimikas says everything about his season, even though he still had some big moments. And Robbo, even worse.

The areas for an upgrade are clear; can’t wait for the new season when we will hopefully address most of them.

Thanks man.

Looking at that, getting in two full backs was more important than Wirtz.
Jota, Nunez, Twat and Robertson are all extremely low. It’s a great job we got Wirtz and Frimpong with Kerkz on the way.

Wirtz will be the Firmino on steps of the next iteration of this conquering Liverpool side.

If he’s close to Klopps Firmino then he’ll be worth every penny.

Splitting the season into two halves is interesting. The table for the second half is this.

Mac Allister really came into his own second half of the season. Diaz and Ali did a lot of the dragging for that period. It looks like Gravenberch tanked, but I think it’s just he rarely made that top 3. Van Dijk was consistent throughout. Endo got the cup games and was the best player in them.

Diaz again showing just how important he was to our title win despite all the detractors on this site.

Endo in 7th and Nunez in 8th !
Endo scored his points vs Acc Stanley, Plymouth and Chelsea (after the league was done). He only made top 3 in the BBC ratings against Plymouth.

Nunez scored his vs Brentford after his 2 goals (BBC MOTM) and Southampton in between PSG games. He didn’t make BBC top 3 that day.
