The England international has revived his career with the French champions this season, where he is currently on loan, and Anfield representatives are set to meet with the Ligue 1 side in the coming weeks to discuss his permanent transfer.
But now Senegalese forward Sow, 25, who has recently been linked with the Reds, has added an extra edge to the meeting after admitting he harbours an ambition to play in the Premier League, and in particular, for Liverpool.
‘I am at Lille now but as we all know I want to play in England one day,’ Sow told Sky Sports.
‘Liverpool, well, that is a dream club. Anyone would be happy, scoring goals in front of the Kop can be the highlight of a career.’ he added.
Sow has made 24 appearances for Lille this season, scoring nine goals, and has previously been tracked by Arsenal, Newcastle and Tottenham.
He has a contract with Lille until 2013, but is unlikely to sign a new one, meaning he could be available in the summer for as little as £5million.
