I think a big issue is holidays aswell, as said, it's only really United who've spent and two of those players were English anyway. So basically four of the biggest five deals so far have been for English players.

We can 'agree' deals now, but the deal won't officially go through until the 1st July.

Good old Brucie G was in Norway the other day. According to him the reason why FSG wanted to award KK only å tek year deal was that they want the title within two seasons, while KKs perspective were konger time to build a team to win the league. They are obviously keen on spending if he is right, but who knows.People seem to talk alot nonsense as long as there are listeners.
 
I think some people are hysterical with their unwarranted use of the word hysteria.

But i don't think anyone ever in the history of ever has ever had all their targets bought by pre-season training though

but you're not hysterical. Hysterical is people bemoaning our links as the be all and end all, not realising that we could have people working on deals as we speak with names unlinked by the press.

We bought henderson and merieles with little coverage before they signed

Im very impatient, but not in any way hysterical.
I know we have a number of players coming, the sooner the better so that we can get them integrated before the season starts.
We dont have that many friendlys arranged and it would be nice if our full squad was available for them.

Even worse at the moment is the fact that Poulsen, Cole, Konckesky, Degen, Jovanovic etc are still on the books. As i they werent ineffectual enough in the season, now were paying the cunts to be on holiday.
 
We might have deals in place for jova, poulson and degen to be fucked off to the continent when july kicks off. And providing our budget is decent enough without selling players, i'm in no rush to shift them. They can go on the last day of the window for all i care as long as they don't impact on any incoming

as long as we address width I'm really not too bothered about much else. so, downing, n'zog, mata, whoever I'm pleased as long as we ATTEMPT to address this. no panic as yet but if no wide player has been aquired by mid august that could well change.

to be fair we have purchased henderson but I'm hoping we'll purchase another wide player befor the end of august.

easy to understand the panic when we're linked with; downing, adam etc rather than hazard, sanchez etc but to me they're just links but sometimes I panic like everyone else like for instance when we were linked with SWP.

People are reacting to the links in a reasoned manner, if we are linked to Bridge people repond accordingly, same with Aguero or Mata.
We dont know so react to individual links on merit. Its hardly crazy, whacky or hysterical.

one thing, we can't really use the 'transfer window isn't open' excuse. sure we haven't signed anyone from abroad but the reason isn't because the transfer window isn't open. in today's paper there is a picture of the new manu keeper holding a manu shirt and I'm sure it wasn't photoshopped.
