Arsenal Mania Pre Game
I seen enough, we gonna **** these guys up man. I want Anfield silenced. Slot with his head in his hands. Salah doing that fake smile where he’s actually crying inside. Van Dyke mouthing off at everyone coz he knows it’s done.

I want 3 points.

Can’t lie a win here would send me to the moon.

These guys have been trying to force a rivalry with us for a while now.

This scouse exceptionalism they’re entrenched in is so so so cringe. They’re the only fanbase with more of a chip on their shoulder than us lmao.

I also think if we win here, we win the league

I want to see Gyokeres sulking at the final whistle. Because he just missed out on his hattrick.

That what you mean by mentality?

We're winning here

Can’t think of a better time to play them at their place. You’re gonna hear people say “they could turn it around at any moment”, but that’s b0llocks. You can’t gel and make that transition so soon after that Newcastle performance. I feel they’re there for the taking. For once, I’ll be gutted if we don’t pick up at least a point.

We are a better team, but we have to respect their ability to just "turn on" and get goals despite being ****e for 89 minutes.
The inbred crowd will also be up for this, and pgmol wil try to **** us.
Being better than them is simply not enough, we need to do it flawlessly.

If we lose this, and comfortably lose this, I will hound this manager out for being a ***** ass ***** ole.

Post line up announcement

I might start reciting the bible all game, god needs to punish this demon in human skin, Mikel Arteta.

In game

No team in English history has finished runner up in four consecutive seasons"

Reaaaaaally? Wow it's like I haven't heard that once already today, and several times in the last few weeks.

Still have a feeling we might nick this.

Let’s be real, Liverpool haven’t been great.

If I was a Pool fan I'd be very worried, done nothing at all.

This freekick is Trent territory

Oh my dayzzzzzzz

done with this ****ing tinpot manager

Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.

Did you really think you would blank Liverpool?

100 percent the manager. Scared, always

Oh FFS. They weren’t scoring other than that. Can something go wrong for these ****s soon please

I hate Arteta so much. He doesn’t deserve this squad. He is such a coward.

My 9/11 and I'm a New Yorker

GDeep™
League is very weak
This is where Raya is too small the Spanish dwarf

Post game

this is it for me, I can't watch this team under paella pulis.

Don't worry fellas.

Every attacker this manager gets his hands on is going to turn to ****.

He is absolutely amazing at nullifying every inch of an exciting football.

Biggest ****ing coward I have ever seen
Attack is dire still. Its all on the tactics. When the hell did Teta turn into the Spanish Pulis.
This defeat is entirely on the shoulders of the Lego-headed c*ntish coward of a manager
Manager is stealing a living, the Spanish wetwipe.last straw for me.

Absolutely DISGUSTING and completely unacceptable.

Sack the prick at the spot.

Biggest coward that has lead this team ever.

Has all the luxuries a manager can get, and all he gets us is this cowardly football.

We didn't deserve **** today.

Arteta fielded a team looking for a draw. Such a Fu**ing coward. A perpetual 2nd place Fu**ing loser . Totally disgusted with this sham of a manager , that’s it, I’m fuc**ing heart broken to lose to those K**ts. 10 man Newcastle gave them a better run🤦🏻‍♂️

Went there with tactics some underdog would use, not those of a man that’s spent 100s of millions

Absolutely hate the prick. Everyone ridiculing us because of our **** football and we get the loss on top.

You play like this you can’t win.

Merino is trash Martinelli is trash..... F*** off Arteta, how dare you use them at Anfield..... What a joke!

Oooh we shut them down"

"We only lost by 1"

"We outplayed them"

WE STILL LOST MAN, AGAIN AT ANFIELD.

This is the issue with this fanbase

Whilst it's all good grist to the mill, a few of them need to chill. We were at home, our squad only lacked an 'official' RB whilst they had multiple issues and .... we have a better manager it's true 🙂

Having listened to AFTV, Lee Gooner etc - they're all basically saying what we're saying too as opposition fans ... the manager came to win 1-0 off some dodgy corner, like the Manure result, or get a 0-0 draw. The frustration with his tactics if he stumbles more will be exactly what that fan base deserves after the phenomenal last 3 year run of 3 2nd place trophies.

It's a proper down the line split with all their fan channels. Its great

Any decent fanbase surely wouldn't have put up with 5 years of no trophies? It's wild

They're slowly realising what a number of us have been observing for 2+ years. Arteta started really ramping up his 'dark arts' to win what look like innocuous FKs wide & far from the box. He would then be fully focused on making chances happen from these - either directly or in any melee.

He takes flair players and is reducing them to winning set pieces whilst Gabriel goes up to try and score a header. He then moved into corners and long throws - then added in more bullshit routines and dark arts with GKs.

This is somewhat effective - but its literally the blueprint for anti football, and his team has lost its instinct for free flowing football.

I have nothing against scoring from set pieces - we did brilliantly at one point scoring tons from corners. But it has to be one tool in the kitbag.

Yesterday the only reason Merino was selected is that he is a set piece threat, and scored against us last season. What Arsenal would have benefitted from in the first half would have been an Eze or a Nwaneri in the middle running at us when we were at times lost at sea.

I've been on an Arsenal YouTuber content binge since yesterday. It's funny how confident they were, not only did they think they'd get something at Anfield, they genuinely believed they'd win. They were almost certain of it.

In my 35 years of following the English league, I've never seen them play this kind of football. We ditched Hodgson for trying something similar with us, and I'm honestly surprised that more of their fans aren't irate about it.

Even during the days of Dixon, Winterburn, Adams, and co., they always tried to play free-flowing football.

If Wenger was dead, he'd be turning in his grave.

Mourinho was very successful playing turgid anti-football for a period but his best teams had elite attackers.

Arsenal under Arteta are over-reliant on Saka because whilst they have some good posshibilities, they need another one or two top class attackers to pick up the slack, particularly given that Saka seems to get injured once a season.

They'll beat all the lower teams and Madueke and Eze will help this season so it all depends on whether we can stay super consistent and / or City get their shit together.

Despite the loss yesterday, they're still in with a great shout simply because they'll be consistent.

I predict that Gyökeres will be benched when either G Jesus or Havertz is back.

Consider yourself lucky you’re to young to remember the George Graham years and the “one-nil to the Arse-sen-illl” period.

Oh they do indeed have form for this sort of style - as much as Wenger performed a footballing exorcism on them - it’s still there.

But it can't have been as bad as this? They're packing the box on set pieces from their own half.

It occurred to me last night that Arteta's extreme risk aversion even seems to have affected their recruitment now.

Their squad options are absolutely fantastic but they've barely improved the first team. They've spent about £300m basically just covering for a catastrophic set of injuries.

I waited till after our game, but I’ve been having a friendly crack at my City mate.

Despite this being their worst start in 21 years and the fact that no team in England has gone on to with a 38 game league after losing 2 of the first 3 games… he seems to be clinging to the belief that they’ll be fine, that it’s just some injuries to new players, who are better than everyone else in the league anyway and that their new keeper fixes everything.

I’m glad…. They got Utd at home and Arsenal away next - so they’re either going to be well fucked or they’ll fuck up Utd and/or Arsenal.

Arsenal have Forest up next - if Nuno is still
In charge, let’s see how they cope with Forest doing to them what they seem to want to do to any other decent team.

Exactly.

They realistically needed 2 strikers (like us) this summer, as havertz is shite and jesus is made of twiglets. They needed 3 wingers, as trossard and martinelli are shite, saka is coming back from a bad injury.

They got 1 striker, a winger and a 10 who can do a job on the wing. They also gave trossard a pay rise but no extension? What?

2 centre backs bought, a keeper, and 2 DMs. I get partey and jorginho left, so fairs. But it's all bench players. You buy to replace starters, not just depth.

They seem to think there's some kind of formula for guaranteeing titles by eliminating every risk. There isn't. With us in our pomp and Utd in theirs we both lost almost as many as we won. You just have to put together the best team you can and go for it. That doesn't mean attacking football necessarily, but just accepting that you can't control everything that might go wrong.

Sorry but a team with that much talent that actively plays for set pieces can get fucked as far as I'm concerned. It'd be a travesty if they win a title.

That's the key part. There needs to be risk, as that's what gets results. Every single attacking player under arteta has either regressed or been converted to a jack of all trades workhorse. Even saka, an excellent footballer, is tasked with so much defensive work whole playing every available minute, is it any wonder his hamstrings keep going ping?

In fact, Arteta isn't managing risk, he manages the wrong type of risk. Players getting near the red zone? 90 minutes for you today. Injured on warm up? Try and run it off. There's an interview from the summer where timber told arteta mid game he'd fucked his knee and Arteta told him he needed to play on.

Hra a fucking idiot

How about they start by not buying Chelsea rejects?

I remember a teacher in school in the mid 90's cracking a joke about the teams in the premier league that have three word names, like West Ham United, Queen's Park Rangers and Boring Boring Arsenal.

It was a simpler time.
