Traore should’ve made it one all. He was through on the keep and tried to chip him. The ball wouldn’t come down and goes over.

Arsenal 1 up away at Wolves. Impressive result for them if they hold on.

Not good for my fantasy football though. I've got Traore and Jimenez.

I'm screwed. I have triple Wolves in my side.

Arsenal are just packing the bus..

Giroud and Willian put Chelsea 2-0 up against Watford. That bottom group of teams keep on losing.

Sheffield United losing yet again and now go below today’s opposition. Burnley go above spurs who play Everton on Monday.

Newcastle vs West Ham up next and I think the hammers will be hammered.

West Ham are one up. What a major fuck up be Newcastle. Lascelles just needed to stop the ball dead or smash it. Instead it rolls to Antonio who smashed it in.

1-1 and I missed the equaliser.

So did I, was getting annoyed trying to find highlights of the 4-0 Real Madrid mauling from 2009. Making a boss Liverpool montage to play for a few hours pre the Chelsea match/trophy lift piss up in mine. Which you're welcome too obv mate. Book the Thursday off & get off early on the Wed. Big screen outside again in mine.

Cheers mate. I’ve just started 2 weeks off and no idea what mess I’ll go back in to. I could be pushing my luck getting the time off. I’ll let you know.

Cracking game between Saints and City. Che Adams broke his goal-scoring duck with a Salah-like chip from 40 yards. End to end stuff since.

My fear for Brewster is that he ends up being a Jordan Rhodes / Jason Koumas type of player who is top-notch in the Championship but a bit meh at the top level. Hope I'm wrong.

I still completely believe in him. But he's basically had two years out when he should have been charging forward in terms of development. He's got a great footballing brain, and now he needs really, really pushing to use it.

In all seriousness, it's been a fantastic game – possibly one of the games of the season, which is amazing given that both teams had nothing to play for and there was no crowd. Heroic stuff from McCarthy and the Saints backline, relentless pressure from City, lots of counters from the home team that were oh-so-close to doubling the lead, a memorable goal that was the difference in the end. Didn't mean to watch it live, but it was simply too good to turn off.
