I have zero recollection of this. Even after googling, I don’t remember anything about it
I think he has had a pretty average season but has been carrying/recovering from an injury for much of it and is only recently getting back to full fitness.
I think he has a very high ceiling.
This summer might be the most opportune time to buy him and even at that the ship has probably sailed
I don't know enough about him as I rarely watch other clubs play. His contract is until 2028. Palace will ask for Declan Rice's money unless there is a clause.
He’s a proper 7.5/10 all rounder in the Rice mode…ie not really worth 100m+ (notwithstanding Carlos-esque free kicks against Madrid) but a sound enough buy for a top side in need of that kind of player.
Makes you think what he could’ve done had he moved a few years ago. Never prem quality but could’ve given himself those moments a good few times.

@MomoWASright - honestly do you think TAA is slightly worried by the events in Madrid ? - they look like a fucking mess, and I look at them and think they are so desperate for TAA just to fill that missing Kroos role which was a key part of their success. I am 100% certain that Trent don't go there if Jude was not already settled - I don't think he would put himself in such a pressure cooker position.
Probably more than happy to have picked up a good salary and had even better moments at Liverpool though.

I suppose the “interesting” question is, where does Trent go if it all turns to shit quickly in Madrid - there are only a few teams that could afford his salary and we probably aren’t one of them.

Well 29 games for us in between loans,. Transfermarkt says he has a PL title (19/20) and League Cup win (2022) - no idea if he got a medal for either of those but for sure he'd never have played 7 times in the CL if playing for a lower PL or Championship team !
That and just being a part of the squad and club with world-class players and managers must be a blast (and maybe Klopp was responsible for improvement that without he'd never even have a Championship career)?
You’re going back more than 3 years. He’s barely been involved with the squad since.
