Gomez has been better at LB since he came in than Robbo was before he was injured. We need a long-term look at LB but Gomez is doing an ace job.

We all know once Robbo is back 100% he’s walking straight in but you’re right, Gomez should not be dropped….that’s evident in itself…Robbo walking straight back in when the time comes doesn’t mean there isn’t a place for Gomez in the XI however.

Of course Robbo comes straight back in, or Kostas whoever comes back first. Gomez has done well at LB (besides Luton) but he should be our first choice RB right now.

Not at all. Gomez has played better at LB than Robbo has at any time this season. And he's faster and younger so better able to cover fast wingers. If Gomez continues like this I'd be looking for a replacement for him at CB/RB not at LB which he could make his own.

I wonder if we’ll recall Calvin Ramsay too. He’s not played much at Preston. First it was his knee but now it seems he just isn’t making the squad, possibly because they play 3 at the back with wing backs rather than our system.
