PDC Darts 2024

I missed all this, why was Littler getting booed?
Think it's because he's been a cocky twat. Responding to the first instance of booing by telling the crowd their tickets pay for his prize money probably wasn't the best way to win them back either.
He's top dog, no doubting it, and he's entitled to a bit of swagger, but there's a line, and the fans think he crossed it.
Also think they just liked Rob Cross more.

He's developed a big head already.

Tall poppy syndrome comes to mind.

People want him to be good.. but not dominate.

He has the same arrogance that Verstappen or Schumacher has/had in F1, so people don't like it.

I read he regularly gets booed abroad, which has led him to threaten not to attend those events in the future. Such outbursts have shown he can be provoked. So booing increases.
