Unlike all the other clubs though, Everton are the peoples clubApparently Everton issued a series of "yellow cards" to fans at the weekend over foul and abusive language. Basically they put a series of yellow pieces of paper on the seats of people the stewards had identified and they're supposed to be a warning that season tickets will be withdrawn if it carries on.
They were also talking about issuing some guidance as to what is and isn't acceptable.
And it reminded me of an incident a few years back when the club had been giving training to the stewards on unacceptable language, and they issued a list of unacceptable terms (the usual racist terms that you might imagine and some around gender and sexuality). At the very first training session, one of the stewards took a photo of the list and tweeted it. Hilarity ensued.
It's good to see the Blues not learning from our mistakes.

This is the kind of turnaround a top manager is expected to deliver. Emery faced a similar challenge with a star player underperforming—for Salah at Liverpool, read Watkins at Villa - scored just once in 13 apps before yesterday.

Signing John McGinn to play right wing and having that hippie long haired set piece coach on the sidelines isn't very tempting.
Welcome back, dude! Where have you been?
Ange then managed to accumulate 18 points out of their next 24 games…*Taps nose
