Another thread, even when the guy is away on AFCON same BS. Pens don’t count BS etc. Step away from the Agenda for a bit and fact is he is our joint second top scorer. Let’s hope Salah scores a few because the record transfer buy is not expected back at any time soon. More important than certain posters wanting to be forever appear correct.

Also, calling AFCON shit is a bit ignorent considering the currennt and unlimited saturation of European Champs and US World Cup. It’s actually been a bit more enjoyable footy wise to watch than current PL irrespective of quality.

Although being LFC all time Champions League / European Cup scorer is something especially. If we starting at stats selectively then probably explains why Isak was valued at 130-150m. Should have just brought Semenyo at 65m in summer with having a fit striker and required as priority in the position we needed but then that is off topic.

Looks like Maresca will resign/get sacked today. Weird one
It's been coming. He's spoken out against the board, they're so inconsistent, and the links about him going elsewhere have been going for a month.

Glasner seems a safe bet

I don’t see Glasner being good fit for that role especially with their Owners. There was something about Johnson being signed behind Parish’s back (not sure how!)

"Chelsea Football Club and Head Coach Enzo Maresca have parted company. During his time at the Club, Enzo led the team to success in the UEFA Conference League and the FIFA Club World Cup. Those achievements will remain an important part of the Club’s recent history, and we thank him for his contributions to the Club.

With key objectives still to play for across four competitions including qualification for Champions League football, Enzo and the Club believe a change gives the team the best chance of getting the season back on track.

"We wish Enzo well for the future."
