The lack of plan after Ekitike went off is a huge concern. We need to either get Isak in or we need to move on. We do not have the players to play wirtz in a false 9. Gakpo is also very tidy but seems on a different planet to the rest of the attack.

For 60 mins it was our game and then WTF happened? That second half was abysmal and we fell apart. Was that all down to fitness?

Midfield failed time and again to prevent simple attacks getting through - Jones, Szobo and Endo all shite. And we didn't win the ball back anywhere near enough in that area.

The attack didn't create anywhere near enough. Yes Ekitike and Wirtz looked great and will get better but Salah was complete crap and not only missed the best chance of the game but put his second penalty in a week over the top.

Palace deserved their win in the end.

Easy, we took our only mobile player in attack in Ekitike off, so space dried up. Wirtz isn't a false 9 and barely got a touch because our midfield was too shite to find him.

We encountered a team who wanted to be competitive, and we didn't.
