Yes, he is. It stands him in good stead when he plays CB and it's reassuring to see him - at long last - transferring that skill to the fullback position.
He has got to be smarter about it. Weaker oppositions live off set pieces, especially at Anfield. The opponent was going nowhere, there is no need to risk a foul in that position.
Games like this one are where we see most clearly why Klopp wanted Thiago. Without him our midfield still has limited ability to pick the lock on a team playing as Hodgson always gets his teams to play.
Trent himself would have been proud of that cross ball.
