It's pretty obvious that he'll give the subs and some of our reserves a run out in this game.
I'm a bit worried about our defence since Agger is carrying a knock, Skrtel still isn't fit and Coates is out for half the season.

We might see Kelly and Wisdom play centrally with McLaughlin or Flanagan on the right and Cissokho on the left.

I have a feeling that Agger and Lucas will be rested.
Replace Lucas with Alberto and move him further up the pitch.
Replace Agger with Wisdom.
Not sure about Assaidi either.

You've got a point, but Agger is injured, he actually needs to be rested.
Was just about to mention that if we win this game, Suarez will be available for the 3rd round.
That's 3-4 days before we play Sunderland away.

Rodgers needs to win something, so I hope he takes the game seriously. And Mignolet won't exactly be tired after all of two games for the club, so if he's first choice he's first choice. Enough of that nonsense. Ibe certainly deserves a start. Wisdom, too. Maybe McLaughlin. But the game is there to be won, not serve as an outing for the reserves. Start strong, win the game and then indulge the squad players, not the other way round.
