On the general issue, we won't be able to fully replace Virgil. We'll just have to get as close as we can AND strengthen elsewhere as well. Getting Guehi would help as he's a proven skipper.

I think it'll be good for him to stay with the club instead of going out on loan again.
But its like you said, his chances of convincing Slot that he's good enough are between slim and none.

Dom King reckons part of the reason Morton was sold is down to Bajcetic, so maybe theres still hope for Stefan.

He needs match time and I'm just not sure Baj will get it here this season. I still think he has enough quality though.
