This interview reminded me what a class act Rafa is. He was initially the reason I started supporting Liverpool, brilliant bloke and manager. His Newcastle team started the season looking every bit like relegation candidates, but with time have been looking more and more like a cohesive team, which is a sign of a manager doing his job.

He needs to get out of that clusterfuck of a club, Ashley is a total disaster and Im sure Rafa will have better offers this summer. Hes a great manager he should be managing a top 8 side, if he went to a club like West Ham who are ambitious and prepared to back him I think he could do very well. Im sure hebcould easily get work in Spain but the premier league is far more lucrative for managers.

Wouldn't disagree with any of that, but I bet Rafa will stay at least for now. For such a calculating guy he has a surprisingly emotional side to him at times and there seems to be a proper connection between him and the fans.
