Part 3.

Has anyone mentioned that three of the cornerstones of Rafa's side were already at the club? (Carra, Hyypia, Gerrard).
While our current "weaker" defense has three of Rafa's signings as integral members. (Johnson, Skrtel and Agger)
Interesting slant.
A bit of a pathetic swipe at Rafa considering Rodgers signed 2 players that started against United. And the players Rafa signed are considerably older
Don't fall for it mate - it's a trap.
Why is it a great thread? It's a mad speculation about two very different teams at very different periods, and we haven't even had Arbeloa reappear as the fans' favourite.
Geez, watching these clips made me shiver - I'd forgotten we scored so many top class goals that season.
Kids watching the past few seasons and wondering what the fuss was about the likes of Reina, Torres and Gerrard in their prime, should be referred to these clips.
I have to say that Rafa's team was probably better, I mean look at that midfield. Gerrard was in his prime, Alonso and Mascherano too.
Our defence was also slightly better thanks to Hyypia, Carragher and Arbeloa.
However, we lacked creativity up front which is something I think Brendan's team is a lot better at.
Brendan's team is more lethal.
Watching that makes me miss Sami so much.
Rafa's team was obv a classy bird who always looked ace and demanded respect and everyone thought was fit, but you had to ask her nicely to blow you and sometimes she didn't really get into it, whereas BRs team is an amateur porno slut who drags you in the bogs, pulls your kecks down, bends you over and starts rimming away before you've even asked.
There's a time and a place for both.
