This is a long shot, but worth asking

A very good mate of mine is in hospital in an induced coma awaiting heart surgery - its touch & go for him, and his partner & family are, understandably, beside themselves with worry. The op is due to happen this week and if successful he will be many weeks recovering.

I want to get him something special to help him during the recovery, and something LFC related is the obvious choice as our joint love of LFC, along with political allegiances & arguments back in the 80s, is the mainstay of our friendship.

If he were well at the moment he woudl be firmly in the Rodgers Out camp (in fact has been almost since Day 1), so dont want to approach the club for anything as that may set him back 🙂 My dream idea is to get something from Stevie - a signed photo, shirt, note anything.

He's probably inundated with requests for this sort of thing and I am sure a lot gets screened out from him, but if anyone out there has any idea on how I could get such a request to him I woudl be forever grateful.

Hi Woland, I have a mate in a similar situation. He was concussed a little while ago and he's basically going to die unless a miracle happens. He doesn't know because we're keeping the worst from him but you can see something's very wrong from some of the stuff he says on the Internet.
