I really hope we knock them out of Europe again, don't want them in the final, before that semi or quarter and we knock them out - would be a really nice.

Apparently Sterling was goading him, kept asking him if he 'was still the big man' & eventually grabbed him by the neck, Gomez didn't rise to it & other players pulled Sterling away.

Apology or not, I think Raheem just earned himself a couple of tasty tackles by Milly, Virgil or Fabinho the next time we play them.

We clearly think about them all the time - they are the team we're trying to unseat, but the way Pep talks about us, the way their fans are behaving and this latest issue with Sterling ... Love it ... Because if the pressure gets to them, it will cause them issues on and off the pitch ... and that can only help us ... Let them enjoy the drama, while we're just enjoying being the best team in England.
 
Not trying to defend Sterling who was behaving like a numpty, but it's just another case of handbags. Our own players have done a lot of worse ourselves in the past too. That's what the media thrives on - stir shit up and make a storm out of the smallest things. Spats happen all the time in contact sports, big deal.

Remember how the Suarez-gate went down. That's why i said if Gomez was white, some keyboard warrior would bound to put 2 and 2 together and call it racism, and it'll be a trending topic which many will fall for. That's how the world is these days - one that is easily offended.

Guardiola lost his head before the game, during the game, and after the game. Sterling lost his head last night. The city fans lost their heads about 18 months ago. It's lovely to see.

The point is that this spat has NOTHING to do with his colour, and so your comment was totally irrelevant and inappropriate
