I mentioned him back on here in May. I think it was in a thread called cheap players we can buy or something. You know one of those threads where we all mention good players who we know wont cost an arm and a leg. I never thought in my lifetime that Liverpool would actually go out and by a decent player, playing at a decent level for a good fee. Never mind three fucking million. Needless to say I'm over the fucking moon by this. Hope he adapts, he certainly has the talent to do so.

To be honest don't know much about this guy but after seeing the videos in this thread he looks like a find and then some!! I just hope that he can adapt to life in the EPL, also he looks a little selfish at times BUT he's got flair and determination just like our man Suarez I like that 😀
So hpefully he will TERRORIZE all the defences of opposition teams.

Ok - bit stunned by this signing but in many ways I actually thought the signings of Henderson, and Adam were done silently last season coz I had no fucking clue who those guys are and still don't understand how they goto play for Liverpool. But anyway just doing some background checks on this guy like most of you have probably been doing and what I can gather so far is:
1) Youtube highlights show he is very fast, and has a load of skills, and an eye for a good pass - PLAYER PASSES IN THAT DEPARTMENT
2) Having checked up on Wikipedia - the international bit is interesting - in his first game against Algeria they lost, but he was called up again to play against Algeria in a qualifier - this time the coach changed to a 4-3-3 system and played him on the right and he scored his first international goal with Morroco winning 4-0.
Point 2 I think won it for BR !!!!

You can't pander to someone's idiosyncrasies just because he has been around for a while and can occasionally cracks a joke or make a decent point.
You can't go into every thread and shout "WE SUCK" and expect people to not get tired of it. You are well demented if you expect it. I get a feeling the sulking off is an elaborate joke by Skull, cuz for a supposedly tough guy, this is a lame way to go.

Although it remains to be seen how big a role he'll play in Rodger's plan, the pleasing aspect of this deal, besides what many mentioned - being out of the blue and away from rumor mill, is that for the £2.3m, moderate wages and normal expectations/pressure to succeed, its a rather safe 'gamble'.

The tenacity shown in the assist at 2.00 mins, and the tracking back on 6.15, and 6.50 suggests Kuyt-esque levels of commitment, and that's very nice to see.
