So, this is a thread from Oncy via the medium of Whatsapp. Simple question, if we could only have one of them who do you keep and why. This is going to be like choosing your favourite child, but this is SCMs where we do not shy away from the difficult questions.

Quite simply if Oncy wants my opinion he can get his sorry arse back in this forum
I'm sorry to break it to you Dee, he has no interest in your opinion. He has transcended, other than an occasional lurk. However, we, your community, are interested in your opinion. So spit it out.

Difficult this one. Just can't pick one. I somehow think it is easier to find a new right back, but then again Trent is our guy born and raised a red.

If given the choice between losing a single bollock and say, single finger, I’d lose the bollock every time. Is it really important to have two balls?
I reckon I would get rid of the bollock. I've already got more than enough kids, anything that might reduce the chance of another one is fine by me.

You can survive with one bollock, even reproduce..

I don't think this team could challenge to the level we are now with losing one of our fullbacks

would you rather have two Robertson’s or two Trents?

*assuming the second would switch dominant foot and be fine on the other side of the pitch

Two Robertson’s for me but to the original question 1 Trent

Trent because of the long term potential.
Robbo is more important and better at present but I fear he will get worn out over time because he isnt rotated enough. He also doesnt have the same room to grow - what we see is fantastic but not sure he has another level to find.

I went with Trent, but it's fucking great having them both. Somehow, they still seem underappreciated.

Agree with your feeling on the question. But i think Robo will be at LFC for the rest of his career as a footballer. If he leaves it will only be because he knows he cannot keep up anymore.

@doctor_mac - really horrible question.

I'm divided. I've changed vote and I may do so again. Trent's set piece swings it in the end. I think. He just has a few more strings to his bow. That piece of cheek against Barca. And yet, Robbo gets the blood going with him scampering up the wing like some crazy Scots terrier, and he is certainly the superior defender. He's also an assist master too, though not quite keeping pace with Trent. Arghhh!

Well, I have to pick one or they'll both die horribly, so I'll go Trent.
