Robbo

Atheltic article states they're negotiating to buy him in this window.

Also Forest want Tsimikas. That shout of Szoboslai at LF is coming to fruition.

If we get fees for Tsimi and Robbo and can save some of Robbo's wages it points to a fund to buy a competing, young first team LB. Although neither fee will be for much as Tsimi hasn't played and Robbo is in his last 6 months

I agree, to an extent........but who are we going to use to cover him?

A LB who can CB would work.

He's in massive wages and isn't playing much so it makes sense.the other issue is that the replacement will need to be homegrown unless Endo or Federico are off as well.
I'm guessing both of those will be off. For Endo it's time, for Chiesa I'll be sad to see him go.

If he is going and it's true Tsimi is returning to be sold he could do well to switch to Roma and replace Tsimi

If he wants to go and play more football then I'm cool with it. He's given us great service and is worthy of being remembered as an LFC Legend. I don't see him going to a massive rival of ours, and honestly I think he'd be better going to a mid-table team where he can play every week and then rest on European nights, but I expect he'll still want to play as near the top level as he can.
But honestly, if he can deal with being back up, I'd much rather he stayed, for the off-field influence as much as being a safe pair of hands when needed.
Thing is, I can’t see him starting ahead of Spence or Udogie there.

Will be very sad if he leaves. Was kinda hoping he would extend his contract with 1 year and stay as a back up, but he's earned the right to decide what to do given he's out of contract this summer and has been a great servant.
But Spurs? Jeezezz Robbo. Still love him though.

Makes no sense for the club to entertain this in January.

Van de Ven leverage? I think we were interested before he moved to Spurs

I don't like this at all btw. What's the main man indy saying about it?

I saw a report earlier in the week linking Curtis Jones to Spurs. Despite Spurs saying they will not sell Van de Ven, agreeing to transfer both Robbo and Curtis could facilitate a summer move for all three.

Can't say I'm that arsed so long as we're not cunts about this and sign a replacement. People need to get over the fact his long term career here is over.

Not sure why he'd entertain Spurs though if it is game time he wants, he isn't good enough to start over Spence/Udogie.

Here's how it's going for his "wing-man":

Not onboard. That's what Kerkez is..

Player like robbo does what Milner does for a dressing room..

Id keep in here for at least another 12 months. Robbo will be after 2 years a least

Something tells me Szboz will the key voice of reason in that dressing room with the new look Liverpool long term..

He the next Captain.. If we can tie him down.. for sure.
