Robbo

I expecting zero incomings and zero outgoings (maybe Salah, but the bridge seems mended).

We needed signings and here we are, green lighting a sale because it makes business sense.

I hate it

He had the chance to go to Atleti in the summer, could've ended up coming back to Anfield, and turned the chance down. Spurs are absolutely fucking shite but they're an absolutely fucking shite side that'll be playing in the last 16 of the CL next month.

Udogie has had a lot of time out injured and doesn't look the same player right now, Spence can cover either FB position. I can understand why Spurs would want Robbo in that respect and aside from what he brings as a player they could really use his attitude and leadership skills. They've got a bloated squad with no real leaders in it. Romero is their captain FFS.

I wouldn't be hugely against Tsimi as a back up if Robbo leave.. on the pitch.

But what a loss that would be in the dressing room, on the training ground. But Robbo has been one of the greatest servants to us, and deserves to make the call himself.

Robo vs Romero and Richarlason

My oh My - People would pay to watch the training sessions!!!!

Pretty sad if he wants to leave, but then isn't his agent Trent's brother? No surprise, if so. For me, Robbo has had a fair amount of game time given his performance levels. If that's not enough for him, then fair enough, but I don't think he's been hard done by. He's more than earned the right to leave on his own terms, as he's been one of the best signings in our history and won the lot.

Any value to us losing him in January? Nope. The defence is light enough!
Re: Trent’s brother - won’t it be best for him and Robbo to wait for summer?

And, if there is one player that would tell his agent to do one, it’s Robbo. Robbo has to be in the driver’s seat. And, I am mostly fine, just sad. Hate to see him go and play against us.

This is fucking retarded. Genuinely retarded. We won't get a replacement either... But it looks good on an Excel spreadsheet. Well done, virgins.

Ultimately, I respect Robbo and his contributions enough to wish him well, whenever and however he leaves. Especially in a World Cup year, I can understand wanting match time. But going to Spurs doesn't seem like he's guaranteed to have better opportunities than here. And we're certainly threadbare in terms of leftbacks, as well as leaders of his calibre.

Hope he sticks around until the summer.

But, if he leaves, recalling Tsimikas is okay with me.

Regarding Trent, I might be in the minority but we're going to need a rightback for next season since Bradley is made of biscuits and Frimpong might be more valuable further up.

Trent is totally hating RM, we should defo try if there is a way back for both parties. I don't see there wouldn't be unless Trent wants to do whole RM --> Bayern --> Chelsea tour.

Robbo may be talking to Spurs - but for the Summer. No way he'd drop us in the shit now.

He's guaranteed to go to the WC so that's not an issue.

I think I read Arbeloa has told Trent to leave, fairly disastrous last 12 months for him.
Couldn't have been any worse as a move for him. Felt like no one wanted him and he doesn't want to be there and was England's main RB last year I think and now dropped out.

What if it Robbo pushing this? Spurs put the feelers out for the summer, but Robbo knows a lot can happen in that time. If he gets a bad injury that’s him done for good. Signing now for three years guarantees wages for that time. So it could be a wise idea to move now.

Feels like it's Robbo pushing this, effectively to be Davie's replacement. It's not a great move for him and would think better off staying till summer and moving on then but guess he wants to play too.

It's for now. Not the summer. Taimi will be brought back and we make some money on a player with 6 months left.

Camaraderie and bantz doesn't appear on stats.

imo this is spurred by the fact arne barely plays him. no complaints from me, i hope he enjoys it
