I've got a feeling Ricky Van Wolfswinkel probably wasn't going to be as good as his name either. I was actually quite impressed with Lavezzi- he seems like a player well suited to the Prem. I'd give him a crack if we're not spending huge waddage.

Edinson Cavani, Another Uruguayan who can play anywhere across the front 3 and will run all day. He also big, tall and shits goals; 26 in 32 games this year in Serie A. He'll also cover for Carroll when he injured and can play off of him normally . Plus he may keep Suarez happy for a little longer so he only goes to Barca in 4 years instead of 3 :🙂 El Matador Numero 2.

he's been a 1 in 3 goal scorer most of his career, but he seems to have progressed that extra step recently to make him special. What really makes me want him is the shift he put in at the World Cup to stay on the pitch with Suarez and Forlan taking the plaudits. Cavani has the kind of work rate I am craving right now. Watching the difference Luis Suarez has made to Dirk Kuyt and how well they complement each other has made me desperately want to add another workaholic striker. This lad can flat out play and he's scored different types of goals. Also he has the body for the premier league and he is only on loan to Napoli, South Americans seem to adapt very well to the PL 🙂.
