Tevez without much fewer goals, but I like him too and think he'd be a phenomenal forward from us. Able to play any of the front three positions too. Just think a Lavezzi is a little redundant as he is a less special version of Suarez

The issue I suppose is that we're heavily invested in Carroll so it's hard to see us spending a lot of money on someone like Cavani. It's for this reason that I find it hard to believe we're in for Benzema.

After watching Cavani at the World Cup I have no doubt a front three of Suarez, Carroll and Cavani would be formidable and more importantly give us depth as Kuyt still start many games. Plus I think with a 100m to spend and a striker as a coach its not outside the realms of possibility that we could look for another World Class addition, that kind of competition for places is usually very good for the squad. I could also see us getting Gervinho instead, great work rate, proper pace and build for the league equally comfortable at striker, LW or RW. And probably available for less than 15m. If it isn't Hazard who keep on looking at Lille, I hope its him.
