It depends on results. It’s not binary. At the moment it’s stay for me but if for example we crash out of the CL and lose another three games in a row then he should be sacked. I don’t think either of those will happen btw.
It's beyond time. I don't like calling for managers to be sacked, they're human beings after all, but he'll be well protected financially, will get a break and another job in due course.
But it's overdue. I'd like him to be remembered for bringing us another title last season then losing his way, instead of which he'll be remembered for the turgid shit the team is serving up right now. And no-one wants to remember that.
A new manager might just salvage Champions League footy for next year and, more importantly. make me and others look forward to the game again, rather than dreading it.

I'd like to see him given the opportunity to get into the CL places and try to win a trophy.
Both of those things are still well on in my opinion, even though our performances and inconsistency suggest it won't be easy and perhaps even unlikely to do both.
Before the season, I said CL qualification and a cup win would be a successful season in my eyes, while our new signings bed into the team and league further.
He's a young manager dealing with this level of pressure for the first time. He could sink, or he could get to shore safely having learned a lot and gained experience of dealing with adversity under fire.
If he manages the latter, he will be better for it.

I agree with the above, but the reversion to previous choices that haven’t been successful earlier in the season - doesn’t fill me with hope that Arne understands the problems in order to find the solutions to achieve the above.
I am astonished that two posters (Dreamie and another obviously) are already in a place where they think the worst performing manager in my lifetime (and I'm an old git) gets a free pass to a whole next season. THat's just off the wall nonsense. I get why sage heads like Tom and Mama are saying wait to the summer, I don't agree (even though I know that's now the plan), but I understand the position.
