A player like Mo is not going to have hissy fits when it's going his way, and it's been a very magical partnership for years. It's of course a bit of a challenge to the old ego, when you are benched, and the way to respond to it is on the pitch. He can't be an assured of starting all the time. Sucks to get old. Most players handle it by going to shittier leagues, which is what will happen to him.
Robbo was right to consider leaving. That's a perfectly professional reaction to the threat of not getting game time. Once he stayed though the reaction is absolutely bang on.
