We need to make him a permanent fixture in the team then figure out who can play alongside him.

I thought he was nervous at the start of the game, it looked to me like he was mentally not ready to start this game on short notice. A few lost headers, a couple of scuttled clearances, one clear foul that was not called. Overall he was 6/12 in headed duels, that's not too good. Gradually he became calmer and the goal I thought really calmed him down. He was in the beast mode the rest of the way. 3 vital interceptions, 34/35 successful passes, reading the game well. I think initial nervousness was understandable, but potentially he is our best defender. Rodgers should just play him.

I don't like these kind of compilations for defenders, because they only show when the player touches the ball, whereas most of the defender's work is obviously without the ball. For instance we don't see the moment when Maiga almost scored with a header. Sakho was the one marking him and it was pretty much a carbon copy of Norwich's goal, but fortunately Mignolet saved this time.

I think if he had his own special Agger thread, where everything he had to say about Agger could be kept in one place and not littered over each and every fucking thread going, and the rest of us knew just to stay out of that one place, then things might not be so bad.

I don't think he got crucified, a few people said it was a typical soft goal that highlighted our aerial weakness - we knew that already and it's not a deficiency solely down to Agger, we have a habit of switching off at the back, Johnson and Skrtel are both as sloppy. But that's the point, Agger gets hailed by Kris as our best defender and he insists we have this much better look about us with him in there, it's not really true is it? He's as capable as the rest of going to sleep and being slack.

A point I made was that it played into Rodgers' hands, if recent reports of uncertainty surrounding Agger were true, and it did.

Thought we defended our box pretty well yesterday considering WH are in the top 3 in the league with crosses into the box. Bar the save Mignolet made we were pretty solid. Sakho should play next week aswell
