To be honest mate - the general consensus is no one (not even the owners) has a clue.
However many people may want him, I for one don't. Those of you who do are giving him a free pass far too easily for his f'ck-up at Chelsea. Such things are never just one side's fault.
Who are those, mate? Genuine question.
Don't get me wrong i wouldn't be up in arms if he did come back, but personally i think we should be looking for someone else. As someone who used to stick up for Rafa, it just seems strange that so many posters who i recall wanting him out are appearing to forget the reasons why they wanted him sacked in the first place (not meant as a dig). I mean just one case in point, Rafa got quite rightly battered for what he did in his last few transfer windows, yet now those same people are willing to trust him with our kitty once again?
I want us to try and find a young new potential LFC legend, so i'd be willing to give Martinez, Lambert or Boas the nod before i invited Rafa back. I know as it stands that none of them tick all of the boxes, yet in different ways they all have impressive records.

Neil: not putting it down to ineptitude is giving AVB a free pass. I happen to think he is a talented manager who may well grow into a very good one, but he hasn't done so yet and made an appalling porridge of that job. It was too much for him this early in his career, and getting him on the rebound now would leave me apprehensive of the consequences.
Martinez, Lambert, Boas and Rafa (probably in that order as well mate).

RAWK needs to work on a recruitment drive.
Doc:
I'll be doing a major fucking flip flop if he does come back mate.
In that case all I can say is I hope you're right. I'll support whoever we do get but I wouldn't want any of those, for a variety of reasons.
Villas Boas is the stand out for me, next to De Boer.
Rafa. I can see why a lot of fans want him back, but I dont think its the right choice. Onkys post/speech summed it up quite nicely for me yesterday.
I doubt he has changed so much that the insane press conferences, benching of players in form, stubborness and the negaive approach have changed dramatically.
It would be a step back or sideways, and thats not what we need.
We need a fresh start, someone who wont devide fans with old issues from the first kick and some new ideas.
Been there and moved on. Let it stay like that.
SCM is not even on the list...

He will put on track suits?
Yeah, well, Ryan B was never the sharpest crayon in the box.
Rafa is probably the best coach we have had in a long while. Even Igor Biscan and Traore did a decent job under him. He had other failings, but if we want just a coach and if Rafa is willing to work in that set-up ....then why not?
