Haha that's for me in 2 weeks going with me da on the yearly Christmas Waitrose trip to buy 17 cheeses where he'll put most of them in the freezer and throw them out by march

Emery or Glasner for me, not interested in anyone else on that list. Can't see Emery leaving Villa unfortunately, Glasner more likely. Both have have been remarkable.
Emery is no for me, does he have the potential to win us the league, no! Glasner, is interesting, handled Guehi situation brilliantly. Alonso has won the league in atop 5 league.

It's going to be Glasner.

Not the most exciting but he's a safe option, with a strong personality. Don't think Hughes will gamble too much and we've always done well with ze Germans.

Xabi odds must be dropping fast. Likely to be sacked by RM sooner or later this season. He must have been high on our list prior to Slot's appointment. The timing could be just right next Summer.

He's not German though, FFS!

He isnt?

You could copy paste Ange there too.

No!
Ange isn’t a double European cup winner.

I think O’Neill would command the respect of the players and motivate them to give 110%.

I agree tactically he may not be up there but as an interim he doesn’t need to be. Pick players that will run through walls for the club and the results will improve in the short term while we look for a long term successor.

Honestly I'm over the "Isnt Glasner a cunt" thing now. Not my top choice but I'll gladly take him.

Glasner doesn’t strike me as someone who has the temperament for a club who is expected to win every single time they step onto the pitch.

Would love to be proven wrong.

Emery doesnt have the potential to win us the league? How do you come to that conclusion? yet Glasner I presume you think has?

Alonso is clearly not liked by the players at Madrid, cause for concern for me that.

lets make sure its not another....
used Gemini for this, and have to say I am impressed. Grok produced some shit of a man in a dog mask and chatgpt is still generating the image

I like ONeill a lot but he hasn't managed in the PL in years. Villa last time out?

I'm assuming the MON shout is a temporary one, until we get the right person in. Depends on how long it takes to get the right choice and if we survive with Slot, or need to cut the chord. I'm moving towards not being rash at the minute, the Salah stuff may actually help bring the (rest of the) squad together.

From previous reading of articles, something common that Iraola and Glasner shared was how they came through poor runs of results. Last season they had to deal with 7 and 8 game winless streaks respectively. However, they managed to overcome the challenge while keeping the players onside. Glasner adjusted Palace’s shape and defensive structure, whereas Iraola tweaked Bournemouth’s press and build-up patterns. In short, they come across as managers with resilience, tactical conviction, man-management strength, and long-term clarity.

Emery, though, is obviously the standout option experience-wise. Just a look at his CV alone shows the pedigree and the level he has operated at consistently. And he's "only" 54.
