Something to cheer you up

I really don't understand how anyone can be cheered up, or indeed affected in any way, by what somebody famous says on camera.

"My job is fucked, I have no money and my Granny's lungs are filling up with blood! But wait! A celebrity has done a Tik-Tok! Ahhhhhh, much better!"

Not that far off from being a football fan.

Its not really that, its more that its the closest we’ve been to seeing this team together for ages. I miss football, badly.

Maybe like those days when footballers celebrate scoring a goal and I'm sat at home at 3am, still have work the next day earning below minimum wage, living in a poor city... but a group of eleven blokes I don't even know (and they're not even from my country can you believe that!) just won a footy match 8 timezones away so I'll pump half my salary into paying for cable service just to watch these blokes play 180 minutes a week and that kinda makes me feel OK.

Yeah, I am with you on that.

But, genuine question, what cheers you up?

Shit, that might even make a decent topic for a thread. What cheers us miserable fucks in here up.
