Okay, this fucks me off now end, what's with those blurry arse pictures? People (mainly girl group selfies) seem to do it all the time, taking pictures with camera's that aren't fit for a Gameboy colour. Are people incapable of focusing a picture, or do they deliberately edit in the Vaseline effect? Or is this just a side affect of poor Samsung optics?

Yep, lack of definition in a picture, as seen above, caused by poor focus in real life, or a combination of low resolution and poor anti aliasing in computer graphics. Basically a soft, blurry mess, as if Vaseline was smeared over the screen.
