Higuain would be a great pick up for them - a proper striker. They're still lacking (as Ryan will point out) in other parts, but we've seen what 2-3 goalscorers can do for a team.

Gaitan will be like Di Maria I think ... Flop.

Lacazette has said he wants to go to PSG or the scum. Probably heard they pay the largest wages.

If Falcao goes the chelski due to him and mourinho sharing the same agent, he'd better get used to splinters in his arse. There's no way he's getting a game if Costa's fit.

Saw the Lacazette link yesterday - he wants CL footy, so we have no chance unless we give high wages ... He should have been our primary signing last year ....

Re: Falcao and Costa ... Maybe he is Costa's replacement?

[article]Manchester United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward met with Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema's agent earlier this week.

Woodward was seen with Karim Djaziri at The Savoy hotel in London on Wednesday evening amid reports United could lodge a £40m bid for the 27-year-old, who is on holiday in New York.[/article]

Schneiderlin: I want to go to Man Utd or Arsenal
Southampton: We only sell to Liverpool, you know that.
Schneiderlin: Yeah but they are shit with a shit manager and shit players.
Southampton: We only sell to Liverpool.
Schneiderlin:Get bent

That would be the same Schneiderlin who is a Liverpool fan?

Chelsea apparantly after Benteke.
If he goes there its a slap in the face to those commenting about no other big clubs being after him.

Lacazette close to a move to PSG according to the French media

Is it only me who thinks that of the top 5 or 6 teams, Man Utd are the ones who best suit Benteke and can make the best use of him? Maybe someone has mentioned the same in the Benteke thread, or maybe I am really alone in thinking this. ;)

He'd probably fit in very very well at Utd. Same could be said about Chelsea mind replacing Drogba.

@Liddellpool: Sampdoria president Massimo Ferrero has flown to London to discuss a deal for Balotelli, acc to TuttoSport.

Loan then...

Don't care. This is one of a very small number of cases in which we need to get rid at more or less any cost, IMHO of course.

If Lazio pay that much for him they are mental, hes clearly a busted flush at this stage

We should have signed Remy last year ... We'd have probably finished 4th with a striker of his pedigree ...

Where would Pogba improve that midfield?

It must be ace to be one of these idiot reporters.
Editor: we need to fill this little bit of a page here. Write something.
Reporter: OK, how about Pogba to Barca?
Editor: based on.
Reporter: erm, his current club just played Barca in a CL final.
Editor: that'll do.
Reporter: great. Give me one minute.

[article=http://as.com/diarioas/2015/06/08/english/1433745181_761576.html]Rafa Benítez has told Florentino Perez that he would like to bring Álvaro Morata back to Real Madrid. Perez allowed the striker to move to Juventus for 22 million euros last summer and to bring him back to the Bernabéu would cost €30 million. To sign Morata next summer would cost Madrid €35 million. If the repurchase clause is activated, Madrid and the player have agreed a contract for five years with a salary of more than the €2.5m salary the player currently receives in Turin.

Benítez sees him as the perfect No.9 to complete the attack of a 4-2-3-1 formation. In that formation there is less room for Benzema, who has enjoyed a certain immunity from being dropped in recent seasons (Florentino personally went to Lyon to sign him). This protection eventually led to the departure of Morata (and Higuaín before him) owing to a lack of minutes on the pitch. The Madrid youth product has scored 15 goals this season (one every 154 minutes) in a tactical league with few spaces. Benzema has scored 22 (one every 165 minutes) for a Madrid side that has scored 162 goals in all competitions.

Benitez´s interest in Morata clashes with Florentino’s desire for Kun Agüero, the only ‘Galactico’ on the market this summer that could act as a boost after a poor season where Madrid watched on as Barça won the treble. As has happened in previous summers, Madrid need to sell before making a big signing (the current gross debt of the club is €602m). It happened with Higuaín (€40m), Ozil (€45m) and Di María (€70m). Benzema will not leave, although there are not too many voices backing him. Morata will cost €8 million (the difference between the €22m they received from Juve and the €30m they will pay to get him back). The investment in signing Kun Agüero would exceed €60 million...
[/article]

Rafa's first potential clash ... I'd rather they get Kun b/c I'd LOVE us to get Moratta ... What a player he is turning out to be ...

Looks like Cech will go to Arsenal.
Good signing or is he to much on the decline now? Being on the bench for a year at his age probably hasnt helped.

Odd - Ospina did very well for them, and I thought they'd focus their time/wages on a big time striker ...

Cech is a good pick up. Still a top top keeper.
