I often marvel at how parents manage, but hearing that someone is doing it sober blows my mind.I'll wait for the kids to grow up a bit more, then I'll start my adventures to heart failure
How are the kids doing?
Hope the festive break was made somewhat bearable

It's little wonder you're so angry in match threads.
Apparently there is valid reasons for using this pesticide, and if used properly it can mean less pesticides are used. Which means it can be beneficial. That's a big if, of course.https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...l-pesticide-insect-sugar-neonic-b1784693.html
Now we've Brexited we can use bee killing pesticides again. A Brexit bonus indeed.
This is what happens when you drive capitalism away and embrace socialism:
This is happening under capitalism you lunatic.
Socialist transaction would have the authorities hand out the food instead of involving a private company, you wingnut.Capitalist transaction: private citizen buys their food from a private company
Socialist transaction: private citizen gives their money to the government, it gives their money to a private company, said company then provides the food, some money may or may not have been misplaced along the way.

Your definitions would be better described as 'capitalism' and 'crony capitalism'. Indeed, the cronyism within government is a product of capitalism.Capitalist transaction: private citizen buys their food from a private company

You are trying to label Tory cronyism as Socialism by stripping it down to it's most basic description.
It is a private company who have fucked this over by greed and bad practice, you'd have a slightly more valid point if it was a charity, or a foodbank who had been given the contract.

Socialism involves the workers owning the means of production, so all this talk of private companies shows that you don't have the first idea about what socialism is.
I'm beginning to think that Dantes might not be the smartest person on this board.
As if I'm going to read that.
I'm not suggesting that. I know a better way to solve the food parcel problem, as well as all private government contractor cronyism problems. It's not difficult to figure out. I was trying to give you a model through which you could do so. You don't want to use it. The rest of the public are just virtue signalling their outrage. And the government are just deflecting it by saying the private company should "up their game". Good luck with that.
