Real Madrid have agreed to a five-year pre-contract agreement with Eden Hazard, according to Talksport, with the playmaker making the move to La Liga next summer.

Hazard has been a star for Lille over the last season and this one, and as a result multiple clubs around Europe have been chasing down his signature.

And while Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool had all been keeping tabs on the Belgium international, Real Madrid have reportedly won the race to sign Hazard, with an agreement stating he will make the move next July after Ligue 1 finishes.

Arsenal in particular were said to be interested in Hazard, though Arsene Wenger had been stalling on signing the youngster, hoping to get a cut-price deal.

But in doing so, Liverpool and Chelsea were able to get involved in a transfer tussle, and after Real Madrid became interested, Lille were able to demand big money for Hazard’s signature.

Real Madrid agreeing to the deal with the star will come as a blow to Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea, as well as Inter Milan, who were also said to be interested

Not that disappointed TBH as I never thought we'd get him anyway.

I did think he might go to the Arse though. If it turns out to be true that Wenger could have signed him and dithered his way out of a deal, that's one more sign that perhaps he and that club might need a fresh start away from each other.

Odd career move from Hazard. He won't be a starter every game there ... Idiot.

Well, *we* know that, but it's a couple of things:

1) He's obviously pretty confident in his ability to succeed there.

2) It's Real Madrid. He would have got a right stiffy when he found out they wanted him.

For all our history, we're not an attractive option at the moment with CL footy still a long way off. Honestly, I didn't expect to get Hazard because thoat kind of good fortune never befall us.

£40 million fuck that it's ways to much he will go there not play that much and end up in Italy fuck him.

Hazard confirms Manchester move

Belgian ace keeps City and United fans guessing

Lille ace Eden Hazard has confirmed that he will be playing in Manchester next season, but refused to reveal whether it will be at City or United.
Hazard's future has been the subject of intense speculation for some time with a host of clubs across Europe chasing his signature.
The Belgian international revealed over the weekend he would be quitting Lille

at the end of the season after six years at the club.
City and United have both been strongly linked with Hazard having watched him on several occasions this season with reports suggesting City are in pole position to land the playmaker.
The 21-year-old has now confirmed he will be moving to the Premier League and will be plying his trade in Manchester next season after being named Ligue 1's Player of the year for the second consecutive season.
"To Manchester, I've already said," Hazard replied when asked about his likely destination at the end of the current season when speaking at the awards gala.
"The decision will be taken soon."

Guess we can forget about him.
Utd need him more than City do, so I hope City gets him just to fuck them over.

I'll be wearing blue in Manchester. Not hard to figure out really.

That'll be Nasri on the bench then. City are going to be so difficult to overtake now. Depressing.
