Mourinho bullying Schweinsteiger

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho should be sent to prison over his treatment of Bastian Schweinsteiger, says a member of the world players' union FifPro.
German international midfielder Schweinsteiger appears to have been cut out of the Manchester United first-team picture since Mourinho's arrival as manager in the summer, with reports that he has been training with the reserves.
The World Cup winner's name was conspicuous by its absence from United's squad for Wayne Rooney's testimonial against Everton at Old Trafford on Wednesday, a match in which Mourinho used 22 players.
Dejan Stefanovic, a lawyer and FifPro member from Slovenia, told BBC World Service Sport: "It's clear bullying. In Slovenia, we would have indicted Mourinho and asked for the highest penalty - three years in prison.
"This is clearly meant to discourage Bastian. Mourinho is setting a bad example. I would take it to the ordinary court.
"In our case, the penal code is quite clear. If there is bullying and harassment, there's a prison sanction, a maximum of three years in prison.
"Schweinsteiger should turn to the Professional Footballers' Association and he should file a complaint and I would also seek penalty for Mourinho.
"All the players of the first team have to train with the coaches of the first team at the same place, at the same time as all other team-mates.
"That's something that should be applied to each and every club and should be written within FIFA regulations."
United have declined to comment on Stefanovic's remarks.

Regardless, its funny that stuff like this is getting written. Same with taking shirt nr 9 of Martial.

Maybe it's wishful thinking but I think Mourinho may turn out to be poisonous at Old Trafford. I can't see him getting on with the establishment types like "Sir" Bobby Charlton and "Sir" Alex Ferguson for a kickoff.

Jose is a cunt, we all know it. Agreed, it's pretty bang out of order the way he's treated him, unless there's something we don't know. Furthermore, Martial wasn't happy he had to give up
No.9 for zlatan apparently. He's now doing a AM9 product range I believe.

Just the start of hopefully a turbulent time at old Trafford

Well... if a kid was unhappy being ripped the number 9 shirt because it harmed him building his brand/trademark AM9 I would have ripped him for number nine just to fuck him off. Who does he think he is? What has he done in his two year long career? What a stupid motherfucker in the first place! How many minutes did he play in the Euros for example??

Haha the little shit has robbed Adnan Januzaj of the No. 11 Shirt. Januzaj is now taking No. 15.

Can't wait for Pogba to ask for No.10 off Rooney's back....

I think he gets on very well with Ginsoak. I'm sure there's a chance their relationship will deteriorate, but at present it's fine by all accounts. Charlton doesn't like him, that's for sure.

Yes I have heard Ferguson talking positively about Mourinho, but I don't expect this warmth to last very long as soon as Mourinho does something he doesn't like.

Yes. Maureen's strategy so far seems to have been studied deference, which is about as natural to him as excitability is to a koala.

He has already complained about the fixture list aswell.

Just wait until they lose some points to a dodgy goal. He'll lose his shit as usual.
Will be funny to watch.

Isn't this the kind of thing this bellend does as part of his whole I'm in charge bullshit he does when he takes over any club? I recall a couple of years ago Mata was Chelsea's player of the year and Maureen froze him out immediately. I don't know about his time in Madrid or Milan that much but someone told me he'd done similar stuff there too.

It's the equivalent of going to prison and thinking, I know I'll go and twat the hardest fucker in here and then everyone will respect me. Utterly transparent from where I'm stood, but probably works with a squad full of idiots.

If Mourinho was really going to twat the hardest fucker, he'd have gone after Lampard, Terry, Rooney or similar. He's too cute for that, though, because he picks fights he knows he can win. Plus he's a pragmatist, and he knows which players he can't do without.

I think he does like to take a swipe at at least one "big" player, to show everyone who is boss, but Bastian is no loss to anyone, and nobody outside of Manchester gives a fuck anyway. His treatment of Mata was more "brave" in that he was very popular with team-mates and fans, but he's never going to be the sort of player Mourinho trusts, because he's not quick or hard-working enough.

Most managers do it, though. Houllier went through Anfield like a dose of hot salts when he took control, and he genuinely didn't give one single fuck who he pissed off.

Houllier wanted Fowler out from the word go.. He was the last of the previous drinking culture regime.. The Kops darling was never favored by him.

That being said when Fowler did eventually go, it was probably about the right time..

Its who he replaced him with though, beggars belief..

But when Houllier did it, it wasn't just to create an impression. It was because it badly needed doing, with Paul Ince lording it as "The Guv'nor" and anarchy in the dressing room. The club made it even more difficult for Houllier by landing him with the "joint managers" situation, so he had to keep Roy Evans sweet while he was swinging the hatchet.

Oh, of course yes. But there's usually an element of creating a new order, so to speak.

New captain is another one; Benitez has just given a 22 year old with about 12 games under his belt the armband at newcastle.

Yeah I phrased that wrong... I know he didn't pick the biggest players, but he does pick ones where people go... really? What did he do? I mean getting a world cup winning captain to train with the kids is all about making an impression whichever way you look at it. Schweinsteiger is just a tool for Maureen.

As for no-one outside Manc caring about it, the reason I knew about this prior to seeing this thread was coz Rummenigge has been kicking off about it saying it would make players think about going to play for Manure. It obv won't but Maureen will be sat there thinking he's won some genius level head game with the world now, the weird little fucking rat.

I think it was also about the time a lot of us stopped genuinely caring about football or the club. Fowler was hilarious and entertaining, you'd get through your shitty week by looking forward to that team play. Houllier turned it all into a boring pile of shit. Since then it's only worth bothering with and supporting the club from the aspect that if we win, it hurts others. Hurting people is now our entertainment. The world today isn't a surprise when you think about it, and I blame Houllier for much of it.

I wrote that bit completely wrong. Nobody in Manchester - or indeed the UK - gives a fuck about him, because he's done nothing and proven what most people suspected: he's a past-it crock who was a gigantic waste of money. He's no loss at all.

Maybe he is a malign influence in the dressing room and training pitch. I'd be surprised, but who knows? Perhaps Mourinho thinks he doesn't respect him enough?

I'm not arsed. I hate United. I hate Mourinho and I couldn't give a fuck about Schweini. Stamping your authority when you arrive at a new place of work is normal and understandable. Doing it in a spiteful, cuntish fashion is also pretty standard for Mourinho.

I think you mean that on our day, we can beat almost anybody, which is true. We need to be consistently good and we are looking to Klopp to provide that.

I think your post is a bit confused. Fowler was in decline in his last couple of seasons and certainly wasn't worth the cost of the ticket just to see him play. I think Houllier made a positive contribution and took the club on from where it was when Roy Evans was in charge.

You don't have any issues with his closing point that much of the world's ills are down to Gerard Houllier?

I get his point about a lack of fun or character, and certainly Fowler's personality was very stereotypically scally rogue, but if he'd stayed fit, worked hard and carried on the form of his late teens early 20s, no manager on Earth would sell him. I don't think anyone would deny he was a player in decline.

In any case, I stopped watching Liverpool for fun ages ago. if I ever did. I want us to win first and foremost. I'd always prefer to sit through a turgid 1-0 victory than an entertaining plucky defeat, or draw. Winning is all that matters.

It was a shame about Fowler because, as you indicate, his decline wasn't inevitable (and, though it had certainly begun, I didn't even think it had gone that far TBH). It was down to attitude pure and simple, and player attitude was the first target of Houllier's new broom.

Back on the thread subject, I'll be interested to see what style Maureen gets them playing in. His defensive bias can sometimes be exaggerated, but there's no doubt that he's a pragmatist before anything else. How that'll go down with the Stretford End remains to be seen.

Not exactly. Fowler was good to watch for his talent, but the reason you'd look forward to seeing that talent is because he was trying to win the game for the club and the fans, and it was fun. Suarez won games with far more talent than Fowler, but it was empty because the win was nothing to do with it being for the people, it was just what he was paid to do, to generate revenue for the club and to advance his own career. Well down, give the fucker a round of applause. whoo hoo, who cares?

Football would be finished were it not for the fact that winning means there is a loser. So even though you don't care about your own players, your hatred of other players and fans still keeps you interested enough.
