Nope. The first time I had food in @Bradley's house circa 1992, old man Bradley came in and gave off about the amount of brown sauce he put on his burger. If my memory serves me right I said no thanks to the offer of HP sauce, out of fear and not politeness.

Since we’ve brought up the subject.., it’s HP… and it’s always been HP, but I can’t fucking stand these plastic bottles and want the old glass bottles back - the sauce tasted so much better.

Also… I have fond memories of Euro ‘92 (maybe not as fond as some of our Danish friends)… student flat, Edinburgh, loads of hash and hot-knifing in the kitchen using an old HP sauce bottle with the bottom end chopped off.

More importantly… HP Fruity Sauce is the god of all sauce - I brought back 2 bottles last trip home - it’s more expensive than coke over here if you can actually find it!!! - I must ration my delicious god-sauce otherwise I will financially ruin myself!!!

Australia doesn’t understand good sauce, too wrapped up in bbq sauce (sweet shit), shit tomato sauce (as opposed to good tomato sauce) and fucking aioli (which has its place, but not fucking everywhere!!!!).

Chilli sauce is a different matter - it’s fucking glorious in Australia (although Franks Hot Sauce is still the Don).

But being wanky is also an Aussie way of life…

So, of course some “cunt” small artisan producer had to make “their tribute to HP sauce”… which I bought!!!

Fuck me… what runny, shit shit-Indian restaurant cheap tamarind “accompaniment” bollocks nonsense!!!!

I only use red whenever I'm mixing it with chili sauce, garlic powder and soy sauce. It's good for chicken wings. You can adjust the red/chili sauce balance depending on how spicy you like it.
