Are we really ? - there is more to this story - it is more to do with the fact that our players are so far up the pitch and then have to run back in numbers; it is an exhausting process and when they are back in position they are not composed quickly enough to defend at their maximum ability. That is the truth - otherwise you need to look at the way we defended against Man City - in that game the team as a whole were not bombing up the pitch they were more reserved. If you play a system where the players are at 100mph for most of the game then they will make these silly errors. Does not matter how great the defenders are - this will ALWAYS happen.
