That for me is one of the best goals I've ever seen. Sure, there are more technically brilliant goals out there, goals with more style, goals that are more aesthetically pleasing, but I don't think I've ever seen a more ballsy goal in my life. That kid is really really fucking brilliant.
To go and pick it up 35 yards from goal when he could have just hung around the box waiting for it to be lofted in. To play the one around the corner to Balotelli when any other cunt would have sprayed it wide and ran into the box to get on the cross. To not take the easy option and dive when there was contact. To take the onus completely on yourself to win it for your team - that's fucking immeasurable.
I don't think I've ever seen anything as ballsy as that. Pure fucking guts to take it on, that kid's a fucking genius.

fuckin hell, talk about an aguero tea-bagging . Yeah it was a good goal of massive, massive importance ....but a top striker involved in some decent play or dropping to get the ball isn't exactly mind blowing stuff . he played a short ball and kept on running, he was lucky enough balotelli's pass came back into his path as it wasn't a fully controlled pass or move . nice finish though .

after just watching the MOTD highlights online now ...firstly does everyone rate mancini really highly now ? He's won the league what 3 times with Inter and now the FA Cup and league with city . I guess he should be seen as a top manager yet personally i still don't like him or rate him as being in the top bracket .
I don't think he handles his squad well , both on and off the field , and never full looks in control of the team plan or what they are doing . He's had huge amounts of money to help with whatever team he has managed also . I guess Europe can be used as a good gauge on the real quality of your team and his have always been shite in europe .
Secondly , Kompany comes across as a top bloke , very down to earth . For him alone i'm happy he won the player of the year and league . The rest of city can fuck off though .

Kompany is great ... I remember a few years ago, we were all high on him (mostly due to FM) and his career stagnated a bit when he moved to Germany. How much did he cost them? 5 mill? Great signing.
