Youre claiming A)To know Carragh shouldnt be playing B)That Coates NEEDS game time.
That alone would suggest you feel you have more information on your side than you actually do.
Like I said, I actually agree, but its hardly worth getting vexed about is it? There could be a hundred reasons why Carra is starting ahead of Coates and ultimately its a game I dont really care about that means nothing at all.

I don't know about the inside info. It's just common sense. Young players will only develop and improve if you play them.

Coates has arguably shown that he's already at a higher level than Carragher this season. Given it's a nothing game why not give the yo9ung player a run out because there's nothing to lose and everything to gain from playing him. Whereas it's the opposite with Carragher

Sky and the whole "football began with the premier league " thing is frankly ridiculous at time . The chap commentating on the Sund-Utd game just said that this was the closest race ever and could be the first time the league was ever decided on goal difference . Fuck me !
