The Masters

I thought he coped really well yesterday, on the front nine he wasn't getting much luck with his putting and then when he dropped a shot on the 10th (?) I thought he'd show us what he was made of after it.

Thankfully he displayed a level of patience beyond his years and kept giving himself birdie chances, a few of which he took on the way back to extend his lead.

I hope he closes it out today

On any other course four shots is a huge lead but on Augusta it can be gone in the blink of an eye.
Remember Greg Norman threw away a six shot lead in 1996 and finished I think four shots behind the winner Faldo.

His play tee to green has been close to sensational and if he can keep that going then I think he will do it.
However, if that part of his game deserts him and he starts having to make ten footers for par, then he might be in trouble, as his putting has been the weakest part of his game.

Come on Rory.

a one under round should do it for Rory today. I actually think Luke Donald might have an outside chance as well, he's slowly crept up the leaderboard.

It's the South African fella I'd be worried about

Tiger has started brilliantly, Rory going to be under serious pressure today. I hope he can hold on as it would be super for Irish golf.

Looks like it is going to be Tiger's year.

Rory's putting letting him down. He should be three shots better at the moment.

I hope Rory can pull it off, or any of the brit's/irish still in with a chance for that matter.

Woods is looking good.

If his putting wasn't so brittle Rory would still be in the lead right now

At least Rory will be Irish in the morning!
Gonna be tough to pick a winner here.

Clare Balding has just announced Rory's trainer has said he's being put down.

Could be worst round from lead ever. Might be 80s gutted for him.
[/quote] He will have to shoot an 87 for that to happen. Jodie Mudd shot a final round of 86 in the final round having
started as leader

Scott's probably just won

Great to see a commonwealth player win it ;)
