None of those football issues seem like anything that any top club doesn't encounter with certain top players. Any none of the off-the-field things are anything that would worry me too much (though the baby-mama drama comes close...).
If the price is right, and people who know more about him than I do say that he's ideal for our set up, I'd not be afraid to give it a go...

I thought he'd already gone somewhere. Potential missed opportunity (unless wage demands were stupid)
I don’t know whether it was “missed” as such - he’s been pretty clear about having no interest in Liverpool and I remember reading ages ago that he preferred a move to Italy.
Maybe he just really likes fancy cheese on round toast.
Allegedly his agents were asking for a massive (15m€) payoff, which put some clubs off.
Good signing for Juventus. Not sure about the fit on his end though, feel like he could have done better.
