They'll play kids. Cup games is their focus now.

Yea this is what I was getting at. I don't think it'll be as easy as it might have been.

All the other teams will have the same fixture pile up so its not that we are at a specific disadvantage. Brighton, Burnley, Arsenal and Newcastle have nothing to play for so if we are professional we should beat them.

City will obviously want to put down a marker so thats the toughest tie but home advantage means very little now without full stadiums so not as tough a fixture as it might have been. Villa are in a dogfight at the bottom of the table so they will scrap for their lives, but we are miles better than them. Its highly likely that Chelsea will be safely top 4 by the time we get to play them but they will still be a difficult opponent.

Definitely rest up our stars and get them in the best shape to win everything in 2020/21.

What a pity the shitty Manchester clubs will have the European competitions to deal with in August which should really screw them up at the start of the season.

I'm sure season finishes by end of July and they are starting season later in early sept. CL and EL to be finished in August. We have at least a month off I reckon
