Haha, you really don't like Lovren...

Bar the odd decent performance here and there, he's a walking disaster. What's it been, five years? He's never cut out the mistakes and developed any consistency.

Can't disagree. Wanted him sold and replaced in the summer to be honest. But I'm afraid he and Salah are some kind of package deal.

Liverpool scouts were reported to be in attendance to watch Trabzonspor goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir in action on Monday night.

The Turkey international impressed as his side, who had former Reds star Daniel Sturridge on target, drew 2-2 at Istanbul Basaksehir.

Former Liverpool man and now Fenerbahce director of football, Damien Comolli, was also watching while it was confirmed that interest from the Reds was in Cakir.

The 6ft 3in Cakir, 23, has been making a big name for himself, having come through the Trabzonspor ranks, and earned his first Turkey cap in May of this year.

Although Liverpool already have Alisson and Adrian on their books, it is thought that the latter will look for a regular first-team action elsewhere in January, having stood in admirably for the Brazilian at the start of the campaign.

Italian giants Juventus and Newcastle are also said to have shown an interest in Cakir, who could reportedly cost as much as €30million.

England midfielder Adam Lallana, 31, is a target for clubs in China and Major League Soccer, with his Liverpool contract running out this summer. (Telegraph)

Juventus sent scouts to Anfield on Sunday to watch Liverpool's Egypt forward Mohamed Salah, Tottenham Hotspur's South Korea forward Son Heung-min and Spurs' Denmark midfielder Christian Eriksen, all 27.

Scouts? To watch three of the most well-known players on the fucking planet?

You wouldn't decide to send a scout to watch Messi, there's no reason on earth to do so for these three either.

It's almost as if they want the players to know they're interested without actually tapping them up, or something.

[article]Liverpool are in the hunt to sign Hertha Berlin attacker Javairo Dilrosun, according to a report.

Dilrosun is a player who came through Man City’s academy, before leaving England for Germany – just like Jadon Sancho – and his career has blossomed.

The 21-year-old has scored three times and earned two assists in seven Bundesliga appearances this season.

Calciomercato reported last week that Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund were in for the €30million-rated Dilrosun, but now the same source claim that Jurgen Klopp is keen.

Liverpool scouts have apparently been watching the left winger as Klopp looks for another squad player who can fill in for his preferred front three of Mo Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane.

The Amsterdam-born attacker has a contract with Hertha until the end of the 2021-22 campaign and is currently a team-mate of on-loan Liverpool man Marko Grujic.[/article]

Did something similar in his Man City days

Think we need a bit more creativity in midfield, and someone who can not only take on players but carry a real goal threat, but can also play a quality pass.
At present the only real player that can do this on a regular basis (play a quality pass that is) is Shaqiri. And while he can score goals he does not really take on and drive at players plus his defensive side is a bit dodgy

For me, I like the look of Salzburg's Takumi Minamino... He looks to have way better feet than Lallana, better passer of the ball, and can pick out that quaility passway more often than Lallana, who seem to not really have that in his game. Minamino also has what Adam Lallana greatly lacks...End product...

He impressed me no end when we played Salzberg

Believe we should move Lallana,Shaqiri, maybe even AOC and bring in Minamino and back Harry Wilson and incroperate him and Curtis Jones into the first team squad

HI Don.

Welcome.
I agree and Hakim Zeyich would have been perfect but the German genius manager feels different.

I’m not a fan but he did do well in that run up the CL final in 17/18 when everyone was injured.

Regardless Klopp is getting the results, so trying to figure him out is unnecessary

That he is... Even if the goals are coming last minute...
Great for the entertainment side of things, not so good for the health...heart attack city :arghh:

Both would add to our attack and more so than what we currently have. I’ve been a fan of Wilson’s since he broke into their team. I think he’d do very well here.

They both strike me as average players that are unlikely to add anything significant to our reserve team, let alone first team.

No he would not, he is an Arsenal loverboy. I cant handle that.

When Ziyech was a boy, Arsenal beat Utd and finished the season undefeated, while Liverpool was...

Well I'm glad he picked Bergkamp overEl Hadji Diouf as his role model

What are you smoking?

Wilson turns 28 in Feb and has scored 38 goals in 100 Premier League appearances.

Fraser turns 26 in Feb and has scored 14 goals in 87 Premier League Appearances.

Granted it’s raw data - but there’s nothing standing out there that would suggest they should be on the radar of a top tier team.

Both look to me like they could add a lot of value and we elevate them. 38 goals in 100 games in that team isn’t bad. Fraser is a sunder so again not terrible at all.
