I know it's a while away, but i kinda wanted to bring it up to see if most people wanted wholesale changes or not?

Carroll should probably be nowhere near the pitch, but if he starts we should definitely play to his strengths and have people play off him rather than 40 feet away, so they can run onto any knockdowns. Sterling, Shelvey and maybe Morgan should deffo have a bench oppurtunity at least.

Doni
Flanagan Skrtel Coates Aurelio*
Maxi Shelvey Henderson Sterling
Kuyt** Bellamy

*If not in pieces, Enrique badly needs a rest IMO
** I'd rest Suarez too

Fucking hell.

The two worst performing teams of 2012 clashing? this'll be a bore draw. Or possibly Villa will nick it with a late goal.

After yesterdays performance I'd drop the fuck out of the lot of them, play the ressies and promise bumper contract extensions if they win the fucker.

I'd go....

-------------------------------Doni-----------------------------------
Whoever's fit------Coates------Skrtel----------Enrique

----------------------------Spearing--------------------------
---------------Gerrard-----------------Downing------------

Bellers-----------------Suarez-------------------Sterling

That's what i'd like to see happen, Maxi, Coates, Aurelio and such certainly deserve a chance.

I'd like to see Villa relegated and we're due a win (!) so i'm hoping they're even worse than usual.

I'd go....

Swap Kuyt for Bellamy(as I think Bellamy will do better from the bench)

And Shelvey for Downing, and I'd go with that.

At the end of last year I looked ahead to the fixtures in the second half of the season to pick one to take my son to. I used some criteria :

- Unlikely to be moved (TV schedules, FA cup clashes, Grand National etc) - got that right
- Good enough opposition to make it interesting
- Still most liekly to be a win for us

Basing my philosophy that we are always playign well at this stage of the seasonm, I reallyt thought this was a good choice.

Its only my lad's second trip to Anfiedl (the first time we beat Newcaslt 3-0, 3 years ago) and I'm really worried I'm going to kill his love for the game 🙁

I want our front six to be Spearing, Shelvey, Gerrard, Sterling, Suarez and Kuyt for every game in the league we have now.

At the back, I'd hope Johnson and Agger are back asap. If they aren't, I'd play Coates or even Kelly at CB ahead of Carra.

Im honestly struggling to give less than a fuck.
We are 4 games into the run that in August I thought was easy enough for us to have a shot at challenging for the title....we have lost 3 of those games.
Im borderline nonplussed.

Oh go on then. For the sake of whyever the fuck not.
Doni
Enrique
Skrtel
Coates
Johnson

Gerrard
Shelvey

Maxi
Suso
Sterling

Suarez

Thats my team. Because why the fuck not.

Possible I may have a spare (Kop) for this - wont know til Sat morning, so if you are interested and can react at short notice let me know. No money need be involved

in this game we should aim to pick strong characters like kuyt because the pressure from the crowd is going to be riculous.

as for the midweek game pick players who aren't going to figure in the semi final to give the semi final players a full week of rest.

I'd go with Kuyt playing in a 433 with Carroll and Suarez. Not sure about midfield - draw straws or pick numbers out of a hat.

Dalglish's line up:

------------------Doni

Johnson Carra Skrtel Enrique
Spearing Gerrard
Henderson----------------Downing
-----------Kuyt--------Suarez

As you can see, I'm not expecting any surprises.

I'd like to see Sterling get a chance to show what he can do. Beyond that I'm not too bothered.

Itd be nice to get a win though and try end the season with a bit of dignity.

Indeed. We have absolutly nothing to lose by letting Sterling get some gametime for the rest of the season.
It might help him make the step up faster and play a bigger role next season.

Happy that Reina won't be playing, he looks scared of the ball nowadays.

Would like to see the following team:

------------------ Doni --------------------

Flanagan ---- Skrtel --- Coates --- Enrique

--------- Henderson ----- Gerrard ---------

--- Bellamy ----- Shelvey ------ Suarez

----------------- Carroll --------------

Don't see the point of playing Spearing at home to Villa tbh, especially when we're so badly lacking going forward and although he's been very meh, Henderson is still the better player going forward.

Would like to see Sterling get 25-30 minutes as well.

Whenever Steve Clarke or Kenny as been questioned this week about Doni they've made a point about mentioning Brad Jones, so I wonder if they're seriously considering him or they're just being diplomatic.

Just read an interview with Stephen Warnock on the official - he's 29 now, that's fucking insane.

Only seems like yesterday he made the breakthrough into the Liverpool first team.
