Great save to keep them out. Spurs drop points. City drop points.

Can't argue with that.
Gutting Arsenal didn't too, but it's a good set of results for us regardless. Now we've really got to make sure we do the business against United, starting to brick it now.

Yep, this match is HUGE.

I'm not sure why we need to put undue pressure on ourselves to win. It's like that Gerrard slip match once again. We only needed a draw then.

Looking at how we play, I'm hopeful our voodoo of struggling against weaker teams have been conquered. That's actually what has been pulling us back. We have always turn up against the big teams and struggle against the lesser teams. How often have we seen a great win against manure and a lost at west brom or some shit team right the next match. I wouldn't be unhappy with a draw on monday.

However i do digress i really hope we take them to the cleaners.

I'm watching the palace game and there are drum beatings. Is that common or allowed?

It's used at my local league football that's played to a few hundred spectators. It sounds a little amateurish.

Win 3-0 we go Top..

No Pressure then,,

These are the games we usually crumble under when there is something to gain.... Let hope this new era makes that very much in the past..

Absolute joke decision by Atkinson. First yellow for diving in the box, when there was actually contact and it should have been a penalty. Then 51 seconds later the 2nd yellow for a nothing foul. They may be able to overturn the suspension.

So Conte finally switched to his patented 3-5-2 system, huh? I guess that's how Chelsea will line up for the rest of the season. Will be interested to see how the Premier League adjusts to this, it took other teams some time to figure it out when Rodgers did it, but eventually we got found out. That might not happen with Conte's team as he has better defenders than us in 2013-14 and knows how to set up a defence.

Great set of results, I don't get this pressure business, nobody expected us to be top at this stage and nothing is won in October. The players should be looking at it as just one game and a chance to batter a weaker rival. I'd prefer us to win by one and stay third for now.

Xhaka got his first straight red card in England in only his 4th EPL start – just a really stupid lunge from behind that had no chance of reaching the ball. This is what gave me pause when we were linked with Xhaka early in the summer – he just looks like the type of character who will never fully learn to control his temperament, no matter how many times it gets him into trouble. Maybe that's OK for Arsenal – they needed a combative presence in midfield and if it results in a few sending-offs that's might not bother them too much – after all frequent red cards were kind of a feature of their style in late 90's and early 2000's, when they were rather successful.

He changed to 3-5-2 after the Arsenal mauling, and they set up like that a few weeks ago against Hull

It was never a red card for me, very cynical tackle, but a red was very harsh.
