I'm guessing it's a 3-man midfield with Fletcher, Di Maria and Mata. Rooney will nominally play up front, but keep dropping deep to "help" his midfielders as he usually does. Di Maria is a hard worker, so it might just work, but a lot will depend on Fletcher being able to cover a lot of ground for himself and Mata.

I'm far from convinced on the idea of using Young as a wing-back either.
